Victorian Gardens in Central Park

The "oh shit" bar is clearly not cutting it for Lucy
Did you know that Central Park has its own little amusement park? Victorian Gardens is tiny but perfect for kids under age 6, with age-appropriate rides and plenty of shady spots to escape the heat. Located in Wollman Rink, the pint-sized amusement park opened this weekend and we took Lucy on Memorial Day. It blew her mind. Of course, by midday we were all sweaty as a couple of sinners on Sunday, but it was fun, heat notwithstanding.

  1. I love Central Park. Love the fact that they put this amusement park there also. Not many people go ice skating in the summer. :)

  2. Looks like a fun day! Way to defy the heat and get out there-- we spent the day hunkered down in the one room with a window unit until the sun went down! Lucy is getting cuter all the time, by the way!
